my vegetable garden has been organic for several years. my problem is how to store everything.My wife cans and freezes alot of stuff but, i was wondering if anyone had info on storing onions,potatoes, etc, other than canning or freezing.

I just build a 10 shelf storage bin out of cedar and pine and hardware cloth to store our onions, garlic and squash. The shelf is outside in a protected area.
