My bermuda lawn is on an organic program and I was wondering on fertilizers what is the difference in using say a liquid 12-4-8 lawn food vs say 6-2-0 milorganite solid fertilizer? Seems it would be easier to apply the liquid in its ready hose end sprayer bottle. Whats the catch?

| What is the 12-4-8? If it is a synthetic product, the milorganite would be better. |

its the hasta-gro liquid fertilizer from Medina. Is milorganite still better than that?

| You can try those but I don't like either one. You might try soy bean meal or corn GLUTEN meal at rates of 20 pounds per 1,000 square feet on a monthly basis. Bermuda will eat up all the nitrogen it can get and these high protein fertilizers will give it up. |
