Does anyone know how to treat this pest. They are small no larger than 1 to 2 mm as adults. I get them around my windows, bath tub and cedar mulch.

They do not seem to cause any problems from a physical stand point, and from what I've been able to find, are not harmful to pets or humans.

The following website explains what they are: http://www.bugspray.com/article/springtail.html

I was told that because I live the organic way that I am attracting them even more so than my neighbors because I have healthy soil and garden areas.

However, I get them by the thousands. I talked to exterminators and they obviously want to use man made products. I however, do not! Can anyone help me on what I should use that will help keep these critters under control the natural way.

Thanks,

Live long and prosper.

Try neem oil or pyrethrum products.
