I have a crepe myrtle. the first blooms are lovely however after the blooms fall off it doesnt flower again. It gets the little flower balls on it but they are hard and do not bloom. What do I do to get them to bloom again? javascript:emoticon('')

| Perhaps some liquid seaweed or molasses (for the potassium) might help? So far this season having pretty good luck with apple cider vinegar and molasses, with an occasional sprinkling of cornmeal on the ground. I'm getting more blooms than past seasons, including from a plant that I thought was next to death. |

Yolanda-
Are you sure the little hard "flowers" aren't the seed heads from the real flowers you saw earlier? If you trim them off you can stimulate some new flowers but depending on the variety you have, it may take a while. Keep it watered and fertilized, both a root feeding and a foliar feeding.
