Hey y'all,
I have been treating the yard with cornmeal for a while now & am wondering
if there is more I can do. We have a ton of feral cats & kittens that have the
ICK :( really bad. I can't get hold of most of them to treat them directly. I
myself have spots I've been treating with Tea Tree Oil & it's working great.
I read on the distributor's web page that the oil is toxic to cats.
Is there more that I can do?
Thanks mucho in advance! |

| Cats love to dust bathe. Do some looking for those dusty areas and put out cornmeal. If you want to increase the chance that the cats roll in the cornmeal add in some catnip. |

Great idea Pam! I have used tea tree on my cats for years and they've faired just fine. I've read about it being bad for them too but that's just not been my experience. Poor kitties! You might try putting some drinkable aloe vera in whatever water you make available to them, if the budget allows, also. It helps the immune system.
Good luck!

| Brilliance is fleeting. Thanks Kathe. Aloe in the water, that's sounds good any time too. |
