KHWOZ is absolutely coorect.
Keep in mind in a good sustainable gardening system, there is a big difference between natural fertilizers and biostimulants:
Natural fertilizers like fish emulsion, seaweed extract, stale unbrewed anaerobic Garrett juice, old manure tea, etc., can be very old and effective, if dilulted and used moderately. They are anaerobic substances. They don't have healthy aerobic beneficial organisms living in them. They are designed to mainly feed the crops available nutrients for crops to uptake. It is better to use any anaerobic old tea or liquid application only as a diluted soil drench, rather than as a foliar spray application.
Biostimulants are designed to either feed beneficial aerobic organisms after application on the crops' foliage or near the root system in the rich humus and topsoil. Or they are designed to breed the aerobic microbes in the biostimulant liquid during its brewing cycle before application to crops and/or topsoils.
Examples of good biostimulants are aerobic compost tea recipes, dry or liquid molasses products or teas, etc.
The more aerobic a biostimulant liquid is, the safer and healthier it can be used as both a foliar and soil drench application.
