This is your chance to hear from the experts.

Holistic Resource Management of Texas (HRM of TX) Field Day at Bear Creek Ranch

Bear Creek Ranch, near Weatherford and Aledo, an initial implementation of HRM’s Save the Farm program, is the site of HRM of TX’s Sept. 23 Field Day. Participants will learn how the design of a “green” community can work in concert with holistic land management to benefit the water cycle and create a sustainable living environment. The day is filled with outstanding speakers who will discuss: design of the green community, healing landscapes, the cultural significance of water, organic landscaping of the community green-space, good watershed management, the ranch’s certified organic grass-fed beef production, and grazing management, Speakers include: Howard Garrett, David Flato of Lake/Flato Architects, Courtney White of the Quivera Coalition, Hugh Aljoe from the Noble Foundation, and Walt Davis of the Oklahoma Land Stewardship Alliance, among others. Registration, which includes a catered lunch, is only $35 for non-members. Register online at www.hrm-texas.org
