What is happening to my Bea d'Arc tree? It's bark is coming off & turning orange.

I think bois d'arc are natually orange, hence the a.k.a. osage orange. I'm just guessing but the bark on our trees seems to shed w/growth as well as lack of H2O. You can't (usually) kill a bois d'arc, so there's probably no need to worry. Ours have dropped a lot of leaves & some have already turned yellow b/c of the drought.

| Thanks otherwise the tree looks healthy. I did put a little tree goop on the trunk. |
