Will CG applied now interfere w/ overseeding?

Have some corn gluten meal that's taking up space in the garage, and am contemplating putting it on the lawn now to get rid of it. We overseed with winter rye, and I'm wondering if I put out the CG now, will it prevent germination of cool-season grass in about a month?

Suggestions appreciated!

If you water and/or it rains several times after you apply the CGM, it should not hamper the Rye.
