| I have some purple pole beans that I would love to give to forum members. The strain is well over a hundred years old. If I am in the correct forum I will provide info in another post. |

| Hey, thanks! I regret the delay in my reply to you. Do you think they would grow in Texas? You might try the "Vegetables, Fruits, and Herbs" forum as well. This one is good for such things, too! Thanks for sharing. I look forward to your reply. What is your soil like there in Maine? |

Ref: pole beans
I'm also sorry for the delay but I have been on travel.
To be honest I don't know how good they would grow in Texas I have given some to kin folks in CA and they wasn't impressed with the crop. I have given some to kin folks in East Texas with mixed results/comments.
The soil where I live in ME. is sandy/clay but I have also added amendments.
If members would send a SASE I would be happy to send 10-15 beans.
