| I realize it's months later but this should be addressed. Perennial rye is only advised as a lawn itself. Annual rye is not recommended as an overseeded turf for bermuda. The reason is that the shade it provides through the spring delays the greening of the bermuda. And until the rye dies out altogether the turf looks weedy. |
