| We seem to have a plague of the little doodle bugs in our garden. They seem to like canteloupe as much as we do. About the time they are ready to pick the doodle bugs start eating them where they are touching the ground. What should we do ? This is our first year to have a garden and we have not used anything but organic products for ferilizer or pests and have had very few bug problems otherwise. |

| Doodle bugs are very beneficial little guys. You can read all about them in the Texas Bug Book. If pillbugs and sow bugs are the culprits, dust dry garlic and the hottest pepper you can find. |
