I called in to the show last Sat. & Howard suggested that I try white clover to cover a bare area in my lawn. I checked with Russell Feed, Marshall Grain, Adams & Handley Feed, & the Arlington Calloways & Redentas with no success.

If it's not to late to plant white clover, can anyone tell me where to buy it?

Many Thanks.

That's great. I don't guess the retail stores haven't been listening. Harvest Supplly in Fort Worth has it in stock. Give them a call about the closest location or get it from them.

FWIW, I tried white dutch clover (Midlothian area) last year with very little success. Maybe my soil is just too poor but I'm hard-pressed to find any evidence of it. BTW, you can find it online if you can't find it locally.

If you are unable to get something on the bare area before the freeze we are expecting this week, at least put 3-4 inches of mulch on it. If the area is large, give Soil Building Systems a call at 972-831-8181. Tell them Nadine said "hi". You'll get 10% off your first purchase with a Ground Crew membership.
