Combine equal amounts of compost tea, orange oil, and molasses. This will be the drench concentrate. Mix three to five ounces of the concentrate per gallon of water. Make sure you shake it up really well, as the ingredients will separate. Garden-Ville makes a concentrate product: "Anti Fuego", and GreenSense makes one called "Soil Drench" if you do not want to mix your own.
You can use liquid seaweed in place of the compost tea. Liquid seaweed is great for the foliage of plants. Spray it all over the plant (not drenching it, but just a spray or two), making sure to get the undersides of leaves. You can do this as long as it is not real hot outside. |
