| With the holidays just around the corner I am wondering how many people plant trees vs. how many buy chopped down trees and then throw them out. |

This isn't on your list but we have a pretty life-like artificial tree (yeah, right) but this year I've talked DH into cutting one from our land! He thinks it will bother my allergies but I think the dust that the artificial one has imbedded in it may be worse. We'll see.

You are right, I should have included that in the options. I am actually considering buying one of those after Christmas when they go on sale.

I should have offered a live tree to anyone who wants to drive up to our land & dig one or cut one down. It's an hour from Plano near Bonham, tho. PM me & I'll give directions.
Patty
PS-someone said they had trouble PM-ing me so here's my email.

Cut down our tree yesterday & it's soooo pretty! Have not had a live tree for so long. Wanted to dig one instead of cutting it but did that last year & it died b/4 we could put it up & decorate it. We have too many cedars in places we don't want them anyway.
