Is the salt content too high (about 3000 ppm) to use leaves from our swimming pool in the compost pile?

I believe that the leaves would be a great addition to the pile unless you overdid it (solid salty leaves). Depending on the salt you use in your pool, you may be adding a lot of beneficial minerals also.
