Not sure about the specific author that you seek, but are you aware of the success they have had in the Appleton Wisconsin school dristrict?

Here are a couple links for background and more info:

There is a video that tells the story, I have a copy that we might be able to share. It is an amazing story.

I am saddened, tho not too surprised that this topic has drawn so little interest [52 views at this writing].

The long running studies at Appleton WI schools [See links avove.] seem to have produced a lot of strong, desireable results in health AND behavior, etc.

Our CC ISD is currently embroiled in a process of banning soft drinks from school vending machines, which seems, so far, to be only encouraging the same distributors to offer their alternatives with "healthy names" but questionable improvement in quality. Meanwhile a "balenced" lunch plate may still contain two or three servings of corn, rice, potato, pasta, [white] bread, along with a breaded meat.

Aahhh well!

How are things in your neighborhood?

Take care.
