have several lemon trees in a green house that are blooming...one pod has got aphids, blooms are so sensitive that spraying water will not work, and spraying with a soap mixtuer turns the blooms brown. any ideas?

You could release ladybeetles? Is it in a room that can be closed off from the rest of the house? If not, you can try a gentle mist spray of a mild organic garlic pepper tea or even one of the newer herbal insect eliminators. Just keep in mind, most are not going to be selective, so don't spray if you've got beneficials trying to help you solve the problem.
