|

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum but am excited to have a place to talk about gardening and ask questions. I want to plant a rose bush that will climb over a trellis (in record time, of course). I'd also like to get one that smells good. Does anyone have any suggestions as what rose I should buy that can withstand Dallas hot summers and freezing winters?
The spot where I am going to plant it will get full sun.
Thanks, lg |

Do you have a particular color in mind? Color aside, the first one that comes to mind in Sea Foam, a Earthkind rose with white blooms. It fits all your criteria.

| Knock Out is very easy to grow but I'm afraid it's going to be overused. Home Run is a red choice that is also east and beautiful and Ducher is a white one to consider. It like Climbing Pinkie has really pretty foliage. |
