Never had this problem before. What I thought was some late freeze damage to newly emerging leaves about 4 weeks ago seems now to be a black leaf fungus on the newly emerging leaves as well. I sprayed the entire (8 1/2 year old ) tree canopy with OMRT Serenade ( at a rate of 2tbs per gallon) about 4 days ago, and it appears that the fungus damage is worse instead of better. If anyone on the ground crew has had or is having this same problem...please tell me what to use to rid the tree of this encroaching disease. Thanks a lot !! :?: :?:

| Don't know what "OMRT Serenade" is but what you need to use is cornmeal juice or garlic juice or baking soda spray on the plants. Milk will also work. Keep in mind that the affected leaves will not look any better. The sprays will hopefully correct the problem & keep it from spreading to new growth. Just to re-iterate the effectiveness of baking soda spray-we had a pretty good sized grove of persimmons w/black spot & used plain ol' baking soda mixed w/H2O & couldn't even get clear to to the tops of the trees but it worked anyway.
