| Does anyone know where to buy 3-5 gallon Pecan trees. I have been to 5-6 Nurserys and have not seen them. I need about 15-20 of them. |

| Most nurseries should be able to order them for you. I would call around and ask. I would also try NorthHaven Gardens in Dallas. Have you tried any tree farms? |

| I will try NorthHaven. I talked to a couple of tree farms. They only had 15gal sizes for $$$. I just talked to Strongs Nursery in Carrollton and they have 5gal for $50.00 I was trying to stay around $25.00 |

Just don't plant them close to the house!
My dad planted a bunch of grafted pecans around the house. What a nightmare... Those trees grew so fast. There is one ungrafted that didnt grow much and was much older. The grafted pecans didn't take very long to dwarf the ungrafted pecan! The biggest problem is that grafted ones were so weak, they fell apart easily during storms. I pleaded with my mother to take them down that was right by the house and electric wire. I planted a couple of much stronger Shantung maple 'Fire Dragon' to replace the grafted pecans. |
