Ok, what eats rose buds?
On several of my rose buds I have a small circular hole the size of a pencil eraser. It is located on the bottom part of the bud and goes into about the middle and stops. I tried cutting it open to see if the culprit was still in there, but to no avail. I am thinking some sort of worm...
I have been researching, but have found nothing yet.
I figure one of you hard core sod busters out there will know! |

Keep looking. I had that problem several years ago and probably looked here for answers. Seems it was a nocturnal worm of some kind.
In the absence of any memory of the solution, today I would try spraying the plant with milk (2 ounces per gallon of water). |
