I am ttally new to the whole veggie garden thing. I discovered small black caterpillers on my onions today, and am guessing that they are to blame for the spinach and kale seedlings being chomped to the ground as well!!!

advice? i tried some orange oil and garrett juice, but then it rained at 9 pm tonite. will they come back out and eat again? did the rain wash away all of my oil? will i just have to go spread diatomatious earth and citrus oil every morning?

thanks to all!

Probably just need to do another garrett juice spraying. Quite a rain, huh? Did you get the near-golf-ball-sized hail too?
