Hello,

I raised my indoor ficus benjamina from a twig so I'm very interested in figuring out what is wrong with it. It has spent some time outdoors in the summers, but it lives in the house in the winter and gets good light.

It is dripping sticky liquid all over everything underneath it and there are yellow/brown spots on the leaves. I can't see any insects on it. What should I do?

Thanks!

Usually a sticky substance will indicate aphids. I would ask you to look again very close at the entire tree. I would move the tree outside, , mix up a small spray bottle of Garret Juice or Bioform (fish & seaweed) and spray ever inch, especially under the leaves.

Whatever is left in the bottle, pour it in the pot.
