I've had a Garden Way compost tumbler for a little over twenty years now. I've followed the directions for mix ratios, I've added alfalfa meal, bone meal, dry dog food, and I cant get the thing to heat up. Even on the hottest of days with fresh mowed bermuda and mulched leaves it still wont get hot. Any suggestions will be appreciated......

Search this forum (link at top of this page) for compost, etc. & you will find tons of info. on this subject. It might be too dry/wet, you're turning it too often, no sugars to fire it up, etc.,etc.

I don't have any actual experience with the tumbler so I can't add anything. There are people on this forum that use or have used them; hopefully someone will respond.
