I have heard several reports of goldfinch already. Not in MY yard yet, drats.
The sightings have been both rural and urban, not flocks yet just seeing 1-6 at a time so far.
These reports have been coming in over the last three weeks. This is very early for the Goldfinch to be here, normally Nov is when they start migrating in and even later than that that we see them on our feeders.
Are we in for a great finch season? I sure hope so, last year was not spectacular at all. |
