some of you may have read 'The Joy of Gardening' by Dick Raymond. He was with the Garden Way Company and I think he represented Troy Bilt for awhile. In his book he used a neat weeding tool called the In Row Weeder. It had six stainless steel tines that looked to have been staggered about 3" apart, and had a wooden hoe handle. The tool was used to weed in seedlings and around crops like onions.
I've looked in every gardening website I can think of and 'googled' everything I can imagine looking for a source for this tool. I'm about ready to put my limited engineering skills to use and make my own. Anyone got any ideas? |
