Can someone conferm this?
I think I heard Howard say to soak hrotacultural cornmeal in water, then dip a rag in the juice and wipe the cats down with it. This is supposed to help with scraching and fleas and ticks.

I can't verify this, but I know that if you apply beneficial nematodes to your yard it will cut down on the fleas and ticks. I also know you can sprinkle Borax (found on the laundry detergent aisle at the grocery store) on your floors, carpet, and furniture. Sweep it into the fabric using a broom and get under the furniture. Leave it down overnight, then vacuum it up. Be sure to throw away the bag in your vacuum when finished. I've never tried this, but I have heard you can also sprinkle Borax on your pets, then comb it in. Leave it on as long as they will allow it, then thoroughly brush it out. Again, I've never actually tried putting it on my pet, but I know people who have. I have applied it to my carpets and such and had very good success.
