| Can you tell me why my plant (in a 15" container) is always droopy? I am afraid to overwater it. Container has good drainage. It was repoted from 1 gallon container purchased in May at Callaways on Preston Rd. Did have to cut tightly wound roots when i repotted it. And it has grown and now has flowers. But still gets droopy every day. Is this their nature? |

| How much sun does it get? How often do you water it? Be sure and feel the soil, about an inch or 2 down before you water. If the soil feels moist, son't water till it's beginning to dry. If it's getting full sun, I would move it so that it only gets morning sun. |

Do shastas prefer to be in the ground rather than in a pot? Just wondering...

Just remember that the symptoms of over watering can look like underwatering. Wilting leaves or drooping plants can be characteristics of both.
I believe that Shastas are good in pots or the ground, if the location is right. Some people have their shastas come back every year, mine never did. |
