I am growing tomatoes in raised beds made of concrete blocks. I have very nice tomatoes that are getting ripe on one plant but when you cut into them, they have black moldy looking seeds inside. If you cut the seeds out, the rest of the tomato tastes fine. There are no holes or specks on the outside.

Any ideas what is wrong? Too much water? I live between Dallas and Fort Worth, am totally organic, and the nice sandy soil was brought in and mixed with compost.

I have photos but since I am new here, it might take a couple of days for me to figure out how to post them.

Thanks,
Kitty

They are some either a brandywine or some kind of heirloom. I lost the marker.

Is it possible that the inside is suposed to be like that? I noticed that in a picture of some heirloom it looked darker inside than like a Roma. Can you post a picture? Have you tasted the tomato?

I've seen this b/4 also. Even w/tomatoes from the (aaakkk) store. I'd blame it on too much rain for the variety. But I'm into blaming everything but me :).

I posted a picture but didn't know how to write and put the picture in too. Yes, I have tasted the tomato and it tastes fine. It might have been the rain because they seem to be getting better. Now I have blight or something. The leaves of my tomatoes are very yellow with blotches. Any ideas about that?
