Some say you can't grow raspberries is north Texas. Well, you can't get more north Texas than McKinney. Do any others have experience with growing raspberries?
I don't know if they are a commercially viable crop like blackberries or blueberries, I'll let someone else figure that out. We just enjoy picking our daily snack which should continue for about 2-3 weeks.

| Tony, My wife an I grow rassberries ever year. We have them growing on a "tower" like trellis, two bushes one each trellis. We have very good results and have about three to four cups per bush. Each year I cut down the old vines and allow the new vines to stay wiht the bush for next year. This year we also have thornless blackberries and they are doing well :D I will try and post a phot next week. Cheers! |
