My question is . . . is there also something I can plant that might deter mosquitos?
I've sprayed garlic tea, broadcast dry garlic granules, and so far it's holding the little demons down that want to breed in my yard. Of course, my neighbors aren't organic (I'm working on them), so I think the mosquitos I do have come over to my place to feast. |

| Some forms of Lemon Balm are nearly 38 percent citronella. A variety called "Quedlinburger Niederliegende" with this higher content is available from Johnny's Selected Seed (www.johnnyseeds.com) and Richters (www.richters.com). You can also take the leaves and rub them on your skin. Be careful, as this plant is a member of the mint family and even though it doesn't send out runners, it can be invasive. Good luck. |
