A couple weeks ago I bought a couple Sky Pencils. As I was leaving the place I Bought them I noticed all their trees were sick, turning brown and leaves falling off. A couple days later one of the sky pencils started wilting and turning brown. Today I noticed one of my Red Oaks starting to wilt with brown spots on the leaves and the bark falling off. What can I do to save the tree? :(

On the off chance that no one responds right away, do the 'sick tree treatment' TODAY. Make it's not planted too deep. Did you saturate the root ball when you planted it? Hopefully it's just a little shocked from the transplanting.
Good luck-Patty

I think the poster believes that the Sky pencils were diseased and gave his Red Oak the disease. But, you should treat the Red Oak with the sick tree treatment anyway. I assume you hae taken the Sky Pencil trees back to where you bought them?

Yes the sky pencils were taken back And I started the sick tree treatment. The seller tried to get me to buy a product from Ortho, after reading the label I said no thanks. The warning label said it was Highly toxic to bees and birds, there is a bird nest in the tree and I have blueberry bushes with in 30 ft. of the tree.
