Hello everyone,
I'm Heather and I've lived in Austin Texas for the last decade and hope to never leave this fair city.
I learned to garden from my Grams when I was small, but my own efforts at gardening as an adult have been mainly potted herbs, flowers and the odd aloe plant or two. That's because I've been an apartment renter...
'til now.
This Saturday my husband and I are moving into our very own tiny home with a small front & back yard & I am dreaming of raised beds of veggies and herbs, oh my!
I wouldn't think of having my garden methods be rooted in anything other than organic practices as we eat only organic and as local as possible.
So I'm very excited to be part of this community and learn & share with everyone here
:D |

Great to have you here! :D Hope you learn alot!
I think inspiration from our older relatives and friends has inspired many of us, including myself. One of my grandfathers inspired me. He never used anything except what he could get right out of his yard or garden. He was a GREAT grafter and his garden kept coming up for 10 years after he had passed on! |
