Is it possible to grow a fig tree indoors or in a full shade area?
I'm trying to start a tree from a cutting. The 3 leaves that were on it have fallen off. I would like for it to be a indoor plant or a full shade patio plant.
Am I dreaming or is this possible?

Right now I have a twig in organic soil.

I doubt that the tree would do well indoors, unless you have a sunny conservatory-type environment. It may live outside in the shade but probably would not produce any fruit.

By the way, they are supposed to lose their leaves in winter so that's normal.

I get morning sun and that's all. I can get due to trees around the apartment. That's out by the front door.

Thanks for the information. I will look for a tree that would do good inside.
