Dirt Doctor has praised the Caddo, Big Tooth, Drummond, and Shantung Maples, for various reasons. As the trees have grown, I believe his opinion, while he still likes all 4, has changed.
Care to give us a run down on these 4 trees now? Fall color, growth rate, etc.?
Thanks again! |

| You may want to buy Howard's Texas Tree book because that information is outlined in there. |

I have a couple of them. One says the Caddo is the best maple for our area, he now says the Big Tooth is the fastest grower, yet his plant of the month Big Tooth description lists "slow growing" as one the downsides.
I'm cool with the changes; I'm just curious to get his latest thoughts post-book production. |
