"Rehabilitating Your Home to Make it Greener" by Gordon Meredith, Residential Construction Specialist for the Community Development Division of the City of Denton. Mr. Merideth is a Denton native, an avid environmentalist and an advocate of the "lost" technology of Rainwater Harvesting.. He is an International Code Council Residential Combination Inspector and Residential Energy Inspector/Plans Examiner.

Come join us at the Wednesday, January 16 meeting of the Denton Organic Society.

Election of officers for 2008 will take place just prior to the speaker. Current members are eligible to vote and hold office.

The meeting is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 pm for networking, seed & resource exchange, and sign-in. The meeting will start promptly at 7:00 pm.

The meeting location is the Arts and Crafts Room of the Denton Senior Center, 509 North Bell Ave, Denton. (NOTE: No pass is needed for entrance into the Senior Center to attend a meeting of the Denton Organic Society.) The Senior Center is located just north of the Denton Civic Center, two blocks south of Texas Women's University. Free lighted parking is provided in front of the building.
