There are thousands of tiny hardshelled bugs on the limbs of a "redbud" in our church courtyard in Odessa, Texas. One of our vestry members was advised by a chemical pest-control seller to use a systemic insecticide immediately or else the tree would be dead in two weeks.
Can we save the tree? If it's that far-gone, I don't see how adding MORE poison is likely to help. Thanks for any help you can offer. |

| I have scale on my crepe myrtle and I was told to use the "All Season Oil"...I believe was the name. It's an all natural horticultural oil that is supposed to smother the scale and kill it. Any organic nursery will carry it. |

Hard to say w/o knowing just what these critters are, but go to the 'Home' page, on the left is the 'Library'. Look up Garrett Juice. Its easy to mix yourself but also can be bought in feed stores & even Calaways has it.
Good luck!
