We have a new kitten - about 5 weeks old - with fleas. I thought i heard Howard G. say once that it was ok to lightly dust a cat (kitten?) with DE. Has anyone ever heard of that? Is it safe? Effective?

It can be used on kittens but is drying to the fur and skin. Orange oil sprayed inside and nematodes used outside is a better program. Also recommend strongly feeding the Muenster Natural Cat Food which contains the DE I recommend. DE used inside the animals is a much approach.
