How long does it take to become a certified organic grower on a small plot of land? What is the process? What is the cost?
I'm building a house on 1+ acre and want to sell organic pecans, herbs, fruit, and other produce when I retire. I want to get the ball rolling if it's a multi-year process.
In Texas- Texas Department of Agriculture. Why do you want to pay a fee because of the way you choose to farm? No fees for choosing Sustainable. I'll get off my soap box.
