| I just recently harvested bluebonnet seeds. I am wondering when to scatter the seeds to start blue bonnets growing in another area. Any suggestions? |

Right now. Just as nature does it. We should always ask the question "how does nature do it?" as we work organically. :D

:D Maggie:
Glad you are into bluebonnets.
As mentioned; how do you see them in the wild?
As I understand them, they bloom twice, although you won't notice them in the late summer or fall. They are setting up for spring.
Try a web site www.wildseedfarms.com in Fredricksburg, Tx. They have a bluebonnet that is Red and White called Alamo Fire. This will be my first try with them this year. |

I planted ours late last fall....mid November I think.
The key is keeping the soil moist for a couple of weeks. That may be hard to do in the middle of summer.
We had very beautiful blue bonnets this spring.
