Daily Dirt:
Cucumber problems
Question from Seguin, Texas. This year, everything I've planted is infected with the cucumber mosaic virus. I've been told to rip everything out. What can I do to best ensure my garden soil will be viable for next year?
Answer: Do a little soil building with compost, rock powders, molasses and one of the mycorrhizal fungi products. Then when the next crop starts to grow, spray the plants with hydrogen peroxide. Just put the 3% solution from the grocery store in the sprayer and spray. It really works.
