 Post subject: ants eating the tomatoes

They, the ants, begin snacking away shortly after they begin to turn red and well before they are ripe enough to pick. How do we keep them off/away?

Ants don't usually make the initial holes, but will feast after something else like a bird, makes the holes. Look at the vegetable and Herb forum for some ideas on how to keep birds away.

I would stat by usings dried Molasases on the garden fire and will avoid it like the plague.
