 Post subject: Bald Cypress Leaves/Needles

The drought has really caused a lot of the leaves/needles on my bald cypress to turn brown and fall off. Rather than rake them up and haul them off, would these be good for my compost pile? I'm not sure if they would add too much acidity like pine needles to.

They are great for the compost, as are any leaves that fall on your property.
