Hi All,
Its that time of year again when Bed Bugs are rife, it's due to the mild weather that we are having at the moment. These are not the easiest of pests to get rid of as they are quite resilient, these can also be picked up from anywhere, public transport, shopping centres, or actually any public area.
Bed Bugs can be seen by the naked eye, however there very clever as they hide in the day in your mattress or behind loose wallpaper and even behind electrical sockets and when you are nicely tucked up in bed out they come and with frequent feeding they can live up to 18 months. They bread and can lay eggs within 10 to 20 days, they then need to feed on blood to become adults and a female can lay between 150 - 350 eggs in her lifetime.
So how do you know if you have Bed Bugs:
Blood Spotting on your sheets, brown excrement spots, whitish coloured un-hatched and hatched eggs.
