My begonias are suddenly just falling over dead. They are collapsing in clumps. I'll go out one morning and a whole section of the plant is laying over dead. It looks like they just collapse at the base. Only other symptom I see is the leaves appear a little curled up on ends.

Thanks for the great web address, Newt. However, I did not see a description there that sounds like the problem of dropping over at the base of the stem.

If they are just falling over, I would think it would be stem rot. I've never heard of slugs eating the stems to the point that they fall over, but that doesn't mean it isn't so.
Maybe you could ask these folks. Give as best a description as you can.
