We are currently working on the logistics of the The Natural Way broadcasts replays. They will be available on DirtDoctor.com. They will usually not be available until several days after the Sunday broadcast. You will be able to listen to a web stream or download the broadcast to listen as a Podcast or MP3.
You will be able to listen to the live broadcast this Sunday on the web by going to the DirtDoctor.com home page and clicking on the Listen Live button.
would you please post something on the home page when these are available. I get out of church and sunday school in enough time to hear the last 15 minutes. Would love to be able to listen while I garden "the natural way" THANKS
I am having trouble actually downloading the mp3's. I can listen to both formats on the computer by clicking on them, but when I download the mp3, it has a distorted sound. In the Napster days we would have to run a program called Uncook against the file if there were problems. Any ideas. I am wanting to put these on Ipod.
I agree with Frank. the files save to the computer as .mu3 instead of mp3. Unable to save to Mp3 player which prevents me from listening to Howard while I do yardwork. Help from the techie people out there please!

Without knowing what steps you are taking to download...
This is what I did and it works fine.
BTW I am running Windows XP and this is through (not my ususal browser) Internet Exploder, er, Explorer:
* Left click on "download" (for example at http://www.dirtdoctor.com/view_question.php?id=1440)
It opens up in Windows Media Player.
* From the Windows Media Player Screen, click on "file" then
* "save as"
* Save it into a directory. (I made a new folder named Dirt Doctor).
It saves it as an .mP3.
Like I said, the system, browser, etc will determine what steps you need to take to make this work. I hope this helps.

Nadine, you must have just been downloading the 4-2-06 show. The first 2 weeks are riddled with errors. in fact, all the files on 3-19-06 save as .m3u files except the 2nd half of the first hour while will NOT download AT ALL because of an error on the page. With the 3.26.06 show, the individuals downloads as well as the whole show download both save as .m3u files. This format will not transfer to a portable mp3 player which a lot of us want to use. I have no problems saving these files to my computer and listening ON THE COMPUTER. However, I would like the portability of listening on the go. Basically, these earlier files are just "links" to the actual sound bite and not actual mp3's. PLEASE forward my concerns above to someone at KSKY or the ground crew so we can get the first 2 weeks cleaned up. Thanks
We will get this sorted out sooner or later!! Don't we luv computers? My default MP3 player is MusicMatch. I can 'right click' on the 4/2 show and save as an mp3. In MusicMatch it sounds garbaged up. In Windows Media Player and Itunes it appears to sound ok. The first 2 shows I haven't had much luck with as Ben. People that use other players might experiance the same 'tinny' sound. It makes Howard sound like one of the Chipmonks!!
Got to go plant some more peppers!!! Thanks everyone for their help.

We are aware that there are issues with the first two weeks (3/19 and 3/26) for downloading the Dirt Doctor radio shows. We are hoping that they will be corrected by tomorrow. Thank you for your patience.
Regarding the sound in the downloaded shows (in MusicMatch it sounds garbaged up - in Windows Media Player and Itunes it appears to sound ok), we are looking in to this issue.
Please contiune to post what you like, what you do not like, what works, want doesn't work and any other comments that will be helpful in making this new offering as useful and convenient as possible.

Actually, it was the 19 March show. Can you not download mp3's from the media player? (Pardon my ignorance, but I do not yet own an mp3 player). I will forward your post to someone who might be able to help.
