 Post subject: cactus garden

am interested in developing a cactus garden (4x5 ft)..have built it up and walled with 1/2 blocks...added decomposed granite..what type of cacti.succulents would do best...live in Irving Tx.gets sun from morning till after 2pm....

I would try some "Donkey ears".
I grew way too many of them when I was a child in the Corpus Christi area!
They propagate like crazy and require little water.

You can pluck a growth and put it into a moist pot and it will take off!
