 Post subject: caddo maple tree

I planted a caddo maple in mid-summer '03. As of 4/1/04, I have not seen any signs of leafing. How can I best tell if I have lost the tree or what can I do to promote leafing.

Just use your fingernail and scrape it on the side or a limb. If there is still green it is alive
