I have a Gardening group in the Internet and one of my members in Louisiana has this plant he thought was something it is not. So he is needing to identify it.

I've looked all over the web for types of lilies and in catalogues and have not been successful.

Here is the web address you can view the photo at:

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

perfumfree

Dear Leslie,

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Having the information of the Mystery Plant being a Crinum sp. I searched the internet and found exactly what it is. At the link below figure #16 is A C. augustum blossom.

Thanks again! DaCooknGy from my Gardening group on the Internet is a shocked and happy person to know exactly what kind his beautiful blossom is. I could not have done it without your help.

Sincerely,

perfumfree

What a beautiful plant! I have some pink crinums and they are very easy to grow. I don't suppose your friend on the internet would be willing to share???
